Bistra Cottage is the new addition to the Fairytale lineup. It stands alone, surrounded by trees, embraced by untouched nature. It intertwines old and new, traditional and modern. It has been restored with old wood—the original timbers were removed, restored, treated and returned to their original places throughout the cottage. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen and living room with a fireplace, free Wi-Fi, a heated shower and underfloor heating throughout. We’ve provided all you’ll need, and this beautiful cottage is ideal for socializing by the fire or on the expansive terrace. It is a great base for exploring Velika Planina and its natural wonders. The cottage can accommodate 10 people, and pets are welcome.

The second largest of the Fairytale cottages, Zlatorog (named after the mythical mountain ibex with golden horns) has a huge terrace and even a small playhouse for children. This fantastic home has exceptional views of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and the region of Gorenjska down in the valley. It is the newest cottage on Velika Planina and is equipped with every luxury. It is particularly spacious, with a generous common area decorated with a functioning tile stove to keep you warm. The cottage also includes a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table, free Wi-Fi, a heated shower and radiators for extra warmth. This cottage can accommodate up to 12 people, and pets are welcome.

Cottage Žafran is our newest and at the same time largest cottage on Velika planina. This modern and luxuriously equipped cottage is located in the heart of the unique tourist village and has a view of the highest peak of Velika planina and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Inside the cottage, stone and wood, typical of Velika planina, intertwine. For a comfortable escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, there is a spacious common area with a fireplace and a sofa, a fully equipped kitchen with a large table, five bedrooms, two bathrooms with hot water, underfloor heating and free Wi-Fi. The extremely well equipped and beautiful cottage is a perfect place to explore the beauties of Velika planina and relax in the nature. Koča Kronca is our smallest cabin, renovated in an old and traditional style, where homeliness, originality and comfort are intertwined. The cottage is located in a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle and main walking paths. It has two terraces: one hidden behind the cottage and one in front of itself. The simplicity of the cabin takes us into the role of shepherds, where we prepare a nice meal over the old wood-fired stove called »šporhet« or simply enjoy the warm evening atmosphere of the crackling of the fire. The small and cute cottage has a large luxury bathroom with underfloor heating and a shower with hot water. The upper room is a true paradise for children or groups of friends. The central room, full of warmth, is equipped with a kitchen, a dining area and a sofa, which is ideal as a bed for two people who want a peaceful rest in a warm nest. The cottage is ideal for couples or a single family and can accommodate up to 7 people and is dog friendly.
