GLAMPING MENINA IN THE UPPER SAVINJSKA VALLEY

Camping Menina is a family-run riverside campsite located in an idyllic location away from busy roads and everyday noise. It is surrounded by a forest that offers guests pleasant shade in the summer heat with the clear alpine river Savinja flowing past and feeding the campsite lake. The lake and the river offer you plenty of opportunities for swimming, fun, relaxation and water sports. Friendly and helpful employees and loyal guests give Camping Menina a special charm and a personal touch, which will make your holiday complete and unforgettable.

Activities in pure green nature

Funpark Menina is part of Camp Menina, which offers with many activities in nature like SUP on the lake, go-karting, climbing wall, SUP polo, mini golf, “cage football” and ping pong. Camp have also an adrenaline park with a yellow children’s track and three more difficult ones, and activities on the river like rafting, mini raft, seat on top (kayak descent), kayak school, bellyyak, SUP on the river and canyoning.

Bear Lodge Medo 1

The entire surroundings of the Menina camp are overgrown with forest and following the local landscape, our glamping lodges are built from wooden logs from the surrounding forests. Accommodation in one of two Bear (medo in Slovene) Lodges, offers the highest possible comfort – glamping in the true sense of the word. Bear lodge 1 has two bedrooms (suitable for 4 guests), a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, a roof terrace with a beautiful view, and a private Finnish sauna with a Jacuzzi. Air conditioning and heating make the cottages usable all year round. The fully equipped kitchen also has a fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and hob. There is also a television in the living room.

Bear lodge 2 is suitable for 4 guests + 2 extra on a sofa and has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, a balcony with deck chair and a private Finnish sauna with a Jacuzzi. Air conditioning and heating make the cottages usable all year round. The fully equipped kitchen also has a fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and hob. There is also a television in the living room.

Eco wooden cottages were built by local craftsmen, partly from more than 100-year-old wood from the surrounding area. They illustrate the rich natural heritage of the Upper Savinja Valley.

Eco wooden cottages L (4 + 1) has two bedrooms. The cottages also have a bathroom, kitchen, and a terrace in front of it. All cottages have air conditioning and heating and are usable all year round. The kitchen has a fridge with a freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and hob. Bed linen is already included in all cottages. You only need to bring towels and kitchen towels.

Cancellation Policy

The guest has the right to cancel the reservation. In the event that the guest cancels the arrangement, the company Kamp Menina d.o.o. has the right to reimbursement of costs, due to cancellation in accordance with the notice period.

Cancellation policy for cottages:

If the reservation is cancelled more than two months (60 days) before the date of arrival, we will charge your credit card in the amount of the administrative costs of the reservation (€ 40.00).
If the reservation is cancelled 45 to 60 days before the date of arrival, we will charge your credit card at 30% of the total booked service.
If the reservation is cancelled 15 to 45 days before the date of arrival, we will charge your credit card 70% of the total booked service.
In the event that you do not arrive despite the reservation or the reservation is not cancelled at least 15 days before arrival, we will charge your credit card in the amount of 90% of the total booked service.
In cases of documented force majeure due to which the guest cancels the reservation or withdraws from the reservation contract, Kamp Menina, d.o.o. provides free cancellation of the reservation if the guest no later than one day before the start of the stay circumstances that prevent him from using the services he paid for on the basis of his contract / reservation. Force majeure must be documented by valid official documents and in such a way that it could not have been foreseen or avoided before the conclusion of the contract.
